The successful candidate will have a desire to go above and beyond, be flexible with out of hours working when needed and be able to travel occasionally to both our UK and non-UK offices.
The Role:
To provide a high level of support to the business, with a primary focus on providing break/fix resolution and to be an escalation point for the junior support engineer whilst assisting the other support engineers across the group’s server and network infrastructure.
Work alongside the IT Support Manager, Group IT Infrastructure Manager and Group Business Systems Manager to ensure the appropriate level of ICT support is provided to the business on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
To ensure maximum availability of business systems, communications platforms, servers, and network infrastructure
Keep abreast of IT best practices and implement where applicable
To manage your own workload to support the following areas:
Taking responsibility for the quality of all work produced and ensuring that it has been tested correctly before release to the business.
Liaise with 3rd party software, hardware and service providers as required. Manage work requests to ensure development and maintenance requests are within agreed budgets and SLA’s.
Provide recommendations of improvements that can be made and/or new systems that will improve the efficiency of the business.
Ensure that configuration, training and procedural documentation is created and kept up to date for all systems.
Help in developing an effective Security Awareness Training program for all Staff
Be a leader to set the standard within the department, setting the standard for communications, information security standards against industry best practices and business needs
Help in the development of other members of the IT team
Prioritise the use of your own time effectively to give enough time to longer term and complex issues and projects, as well as for completing short term demands
