Melley Richards has held a variety of roles in the eCommerce space since 2010. In 2010, they were an Engagement Specialist at Cigna. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Site Merchandiser, Target.com Electronics & Entertainment and a Sr. Merchandise Specialist, Target.com Electronics at Target. In 2015, they were an eCommerce Specialist, Digital Imaging & Connected Home at Best Buy. From 2017 to 2018, they were an eCommerce Manager at Gartner Studios. From 2018 to 2020, they were an Account Manager, Home Center Channel Manager, and Associate Director of Brand Content at BrandJump. In 2020, they were also an Associate Manager, eCommerce Category and Customer Development at Newell Brands.

Melley Richards attended Carleton College from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Melley also attended St. Paul Academy and Summit School.
