What you'll bring: ·         Lead all operations related to the accounting department including month-end close, general ledger activity, balance sheet reconciliation, daily settlement reporting, treasury, and payables ·         Manage and execute the monthly financial close process including preparation and delivery of financial reporting and analysis to internal and external stakeholders ·         Possess thorough working knowledge of US GAAP, technical accounting standards, and internal controls ·         Mentor and review accounting deliverables of junior team members ·         Partner closely with the Finance team by providing key insights and visibility into financial results ·         Continuously evaluate areas for process improvement and automation ·         Proven capability to streamline processes and build out accounting processes for new products ·         Lead annual audit and tax filings to completion ·         Other duties and ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities, including state financials and quarterly investor financials preparation
