Thomas Turner has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Thomas is currently the Director of Data, Insights, and Information Systems at Bread for the World, where they lead the implementation of data and evaluation policies and systems. Previously, Thomas worked at International Justice Mission, starting as a Strategic Partnerships Research Manager and then progressing to roles such as Senior Program Manager, Regional Director, and Vice President. During their time at International Justice Mission, Thomas played a key role in research, relationship management, prospect strategy, and data analytics. Prior to that, Thomas worked at KPMG as a Compliance Manager and Senior Associate, where they specialized in analyzing independence reports for potential clients. Thomas also has experience as an Adjunct Lecturer, teaching English at Alliance University.

Thomas Turner obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bible and English Education from Cairn University between 2002 and 2005. Thomas then pursued a Master of Arts degree in English from Rutgers University - Newark from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Thomas has also obtained several certifications. Thomas received certifications such as Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT Fundamentals from Blackbaud in August 2023, and Client certifications in Account Data, Client Account Security, and Product Orientation from Engaging Networks in July 2023. Prior to that, they obtained certifications in Data Science with SQL and Tableau from eCornell in December 2021, Diversity & Inclusion from eCornell in January 2020, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera Verified Certificates in May 2014.
