Alexander Acosta

Alexander Acosta is an Operating Principal responsible for underwriting and executing add-on M&A transactions across the portfolio. Alex has a diverse corporate finance and investing background that spans private equity, investment banking and corporate development. Previously, Alex was a Director of Corporate Development at NextEra Energy, one of America’s largest capital investors in infrastructure assets, where he was responsible for originating and underwriting small and mid-cap M&A opportunities. Earlier in his career Alex was an associate in in the Financial Sponsors group at Barclays, where he led the underwriting of leveraged buyouts. Alex received a BBA, cum laude, from Florida International University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
