Zabdí Cortés began their educational career in 2004, when they earned a BA in International Relations from Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2006 and 2007, they attended The University of British Columbia, where they earned an International Relations degree with a focus in Comparative Politics. From 2008 to 2009, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a degree in Comparative Politics with a focus in Economics. Additionally, in 2008, they obtained a certification in New Patterns of Production, Time and Meaning in Contemporary Capitalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and in 2007, they obtained a certification in International Relations of the Great Powers in the XX Century from The University of British Columbia.
