Marcelo Lasak

Marcelo Lasak has extensive work experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, and operations management in the chemical industry. Marcelo began their career as a Process Engineer at Tintas Coral in 1991 and later served as a Plant Manager at Vitória Química and Ecolab. In 2002, they became the General Operations Manager at Brenntag before transitioning to the role of Supply Chain and Operations Manager at Rich do Brasil Ltda. In 2011, they joined FMC as a Plant Manager and then moved to MWV Specialty Chemicals as a Plant Manager in 2013. Since 2014, Marcelo has held various leadership positions at the Brenntag Group, including Supply Chain and Operations Director for Brazil and currently Head of Manufacturing Operations and QSHE for LATAM South.

Marcelo Lasak obtained an MBA in Gestão Empresarial from FIA in the years 2006-2007. Prior to that, between 1985-1989, they attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo, although their degree name and field of study were not specified.
