Heather Hill

Teacher at Briarcrest Christian School

Heather Hill is the 6th grade science teacher and is excited to explore the intricacies of God’s creation with her students. Prior to coming to BCS, Heather taught 9th- 12th grade sciences including Biology, Ecology, and Living Environment. She has also coached multiple sports including swimming, cross country, and track & field. Heather has taught in both private and public school settings in Tennessee and New York. She graduated from Christian Brothers University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 2009. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Education from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. She received her New York State Teaching Certification in Adolescence Education: Biology, as well as an extension certification in General Science. In addition to teaching, Heather enjoys participating in scientific research studies. She has had the opportunity to conduct research on the Giant Pandas’ digestive mechanisms at the Memphis Zoo and to map Ash trees for the Albany City Forester during the invasion of the Emerald Ash Borer Beatle.
