Anita Spasova

Anita Spasova is an experienced Associate Scientist at BridgeBio since September 2021, previously serving as a Senior Research Associate within the Discovery team focusing on In-vitro Neuroscience. Anita's prior roles include Research Associate II at Alkahest, Inc., and Neuroscience Researcher at Neuralink. Additionally, extensive experience at Neurona Therapeutics involved positions as Research Associate II and I, and at UCSF Memory and Aging Center, where work focused on Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer's disease models. Core competencies include immunofluorescence, behavioral assays, and histological techniques. Anita holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Physiology from San Francisco State University and completed an Introduction to Python course at Stanford University.
