Hal Hogsett

SVP, Reservoir Engineering at Brigham Minerals

Hal Hogsett joined Brigham Minerals in 2017 where he manages the reserves process, evaluation of mineral and royalty acquisitions as well as the planning and forecasting of the mineral portfolio.

Mr. Hogsett has worked in the E&P industry since 2009, with his primary focus on unconventional resource plays. Most recently Hal served as a Senior Reservoir Engineer with Antero Resources focusing predominantly in the Appalachian Basin. At Antero, Hal was responsible for reserves, acquisitions and divestitures, new ventures, midstream and corporate planning. Prior to Antero, Mr. Hogsett worked with Apache Corporation in the Permian Basin, Anadarko Basin and Gulf Coast onshore and offshore in several engineering capacities.

Hal graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. He has been an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) since 2005 and has previously served on the board of the Young Professionals in Energy (YPE).
