Sachin Shelke

Dr. Sachin Shelke started their work experience in 2000 as a Research Associate at AstraZeneca, where they worked until 2001. Dr. Sachin then joined Ranbaxy as a Research Associate from 2001 to 2002. In 2007, Dr. Shelke joined Polyphor Ltd as a Project Leader in Medicinal Chemistry, where they managed projects, mentored a team, and contributed to new project proposals and laboratory infrastructure updates. From 2010 to 2018, they took on the role of Project Leader in the Small Molecule Business Unit at Polyphor Ltd, where they managed collaborative projects, coordinated with various drug discovery departments, and worked on projects involving the identification of lead compounds. From 2019 to 2021, Dr. Shelke worked at Bachem as a Project Leader, leading and managing projects in peptide CMC drug development, providing support to senior management, and participating in portfolio management reviews. Currently, since 2022, they are working as a Research Project Manager at Bright Peak Therapeutics, where they plan, coordinates, and executes research projects and leads a research team. Dr. Sachin also develops and enforces research policies and procedures.

Dr. Sachin Shelke has a strong educational background in medicinal chemistry. Dr. Sachin obtained a Ph.D in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Basel, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Dr. Sachin furthered their education through a postdoctoral program at the University of Basel from 2006 to 2007, specializing in medicinal chemistry. Dr. Shelke also holds a Master of Science degree in Drug Chemistry, which they earned from B.P.H.E.Societys Ahmednagar College, Ahmednagar Research Centre, Ahmednagar. Dr. Sachin completed their M.Sc from 1998 to 2000. Based on this information, it can be concluded that Dr. Shelke has a strong educational foundation in medicinal chemistry, with a focus on drug chemistry.
