Brian Kaufman

Sr. Director, Account Management West at Brightcove

Brian Kaufman has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Brian started their career at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in 1998 as a Site Manager for walmartstores.com. Brian was responsible for directing the strategy and front-end aspects of Wal-Mart's corporate website.

In 2006, Kaufman joined The FeedRoom as a Strategic Account Manager, where they provided consultation, support, and best practices to clients in the government, corporate, and media sectors. Brian worked with a variety of clients, including McGraw-Hill, General Motors, and the US Marine Corps.

In 2009, Kaufman moved to Piksel and took on the role of Senior Director, Client Solutions. Brian was responsible for managing account management for enterprise, media, and government clients. Some notable clients included Johnson & Johnson, Honeywell, and General Electric.

Kaufman then joined Brightcove in 2013, where they held various roles such as Strategic Account Director, Senior Strategic Account Director, and Enterprise Regional Account Director. In these roles, they managed and led relationships with clients who utilized Brightcove's platform for global communications. Brian also mentored and managed teams of account directors and sales professionals, implemented growth methodologies, and prospect into current clients.

Currently, Kaufman is the Sr. Director, Account Management West at Brightcove, where they are responsible for overseeing account management in the western region.

Brian Kaufman received their Associates degree in Graphic Design from Oklahoma State University - Okmulgee, which they attended from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelors degree in Journalism/Advertising at the University of Central Oklahoma from 1989 to 1994. Brian Kaufman has also obtained several certifications, including an Advanced Certified Personal and Executive Coach (ACPEC - ICF Level 2/ACTP) from the College of Executive Coaching in June 2023, an Effective Listening certification from LinkedIn in June 2023, and an ICF Member Badge from the International Coaching Federation in February 2023.
