Rory Baird

Rory Baird has a diverse range of experience in corporate development and private equity. Rory began their career at Bain & Company, where they worked as a consultant for eight years. Rory then joined Brakes as the Corporate Development Director, overseeing portfolio operations for global private equity firms. After that, they moved to Alchemy Partners LLP as a Private Equity professional, leading strategic initiatives and managing a portfolio of companies. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Corporate Development at Octopus, where they are responsible for expanding into new growth markets and overseeing various subsidiaries within the Octopus Group.

Rory Baird earned an MBA from INSEAD in 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford, graduating in 1997.
