Jeff J Scherman

Jeff J Scherman has extensive work experience in accounting and financial management. Jeff J currently serves as the Chief Accounting Officer at Bright Health, where they have led the accounting, SEC reporting, internal audit, and tax functions for the multibillion-dollar healthcare company. Since joining in mid-2020, they have built out the controllership function to help bring the company public. Prior to this, they worked at Ameriprise Financial, Inc. for over 13 years, holding various Vice President and Controller positions, where they led accounting, regulatory reporting, and financial controls for different business segments. Jeff J also managed relationships with external auditors and collaborated with regulatory authorities. Earlier in their career, they worked at Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor and served in the United States Army as a Platoon Leader and Battalion Staff Officer.
