Manuel Sampedro

Manuel Sampedro has extensive work experience. Manuel started their career at Visa in 1994 as a Corporate Trainer, where they trained emergency service consultants. In 1997, they joined Verizon as a Manager, and over the years, they held various positions including Director and Region President for different markets. Manuel was responsible for P&L, marketing, sales, and operations, and led teams of thousands of employees. Manuel held leadership roles such as SVP - Mid Atlantic Area President and SVP - Strategic Initiatives. Manuel also served as SVP - Global Business Transformation until July 2023. From April to October 2023, they took a sabbatical. Currently, Manuel holds the position of Executive Vice President & COO at Brightspeed.

Manuel Sampedro obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Business from Towson University between 1991 and 1995. Manuel then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology at the University of Baltimore from 1997 to 1999. Afterward, they received a Master's Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from The George Washington University from 2000 to 2002.
