Head Of Performance at British Athletics

Tommy Yule has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of athletics and performance. Tommy started their career in 1996 as an International Athlete in Olympic Weightlifting. Tommy then transitioned to various roles within the English Institute of Sport, including Senior Strength & Conditioning Coach from 2003 to 2009. Tommy also worked at Airbus as a Direct Entry Graduate from 2001 to 2003. In 2010, they became the WCL Director of Weightlifting at British Weight Lifting and later served as the Performance Director from 2013 to 2017. Tommy Yule then joined UK Athletics as the Head of Performance Support from 2017 to 2021, and currently holds the position of Head of Performance since December 2021. Additionally, they co-founded ESP Fitness in 2011. Overall, with their wealth of experience, Tommy Yule has played crucial roles in the field of sports performance and has a strong background in strength and conditioning coaching.

Tommy Yule attended the University of Oxford from 1994 to 1998, where they pursued a degree in Engineering Science. Tommy successfully completed their studies and obtained an MEng in their chosen field of study.
