Peter Hellewell

Peter Hellewell is an experienced Program and Project Manager currently working at Openreach since August 2019, leading the migration of Fault and Provision order journeys to strategic platforms aimed at achieving significant annual cost savings. With a strong background in project management, Peter has held interim roles such as UK Change Project Manager at British Gas, overseeing the transfer of engineering work to enhance operational focus and customer experience. Previously, Peter served as Interim Head of Smart Metering Delivery at Enzen Global Limited and Operations Director at SMS Plc, managing substantial operational budgets and project initiatives in smart metering. Peter’s extensive career at RWE npower spanned over 16 years, where responsibilities included leading various divisions related to metering services and development, generating multimillion-pound revenue streams. Peter holds an MBA from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle.
