Catriona MacDonald

Catriona Macdonald is a Marine Geoscientist and Hydrographer at the British Geological Survey since January 2022, specializing in marine site characterization for offshore renewables and subsea cable sectors. Catriona has a strong background in geotechnical engineering, previously holding roles at Ternan Energy and Oceaneering, where responsibilities included project management, data interpretation, and creating ground models. Early experience as a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer at Ecosse Subsea Systems involved trenching and route preparation. Catriona's diverse experience also includes roles in customer service and tutoring, complemented by a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Aberdeen.
