Head Of Health Analytics at British Heart Foundation

Naomi Herz has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and research fields. Naomi started their career as an Intern at the Office of Health Economics, where they researched the use of non-inferiority trials for evidence on cost-effectiveness of antibiotics. Naomi then worked as a Research Fellow at the FDA, examining gender differences in cardiac resynchronization therapy outcomes. At The Pew Charitable Trusts, they served as an Associate, providing research, literature reviews, and fact sheets on medical device innovation and patient consent laws. Naomi then joined King's College London as a Health Technology Assessor and Health Economist, preparing medtech innovation briefings and conducting cost analyses. Currently, they work at the British Heart Foundation, starting as a Strategy Analyst and progressing to the roles of Senior Health Intelligence Lead and Head of Health Analytics, where they played a key role in strategy development and led on creating dashboards for disease measures and key performance indicators.

Naomi Herz holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Health Policy (Health Economics) from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) obtained in 2013. Naomi also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from SUNY New Paltz, completed between 2005 and 2009. In addition, Naomi Herz earned a certification in Data Science Specialization from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2018.
