Afua Asare

Afua Asare is an accomplished student at Harvard University, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. As a current member of the Commissioner Search Committee for the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School, Afua actively contributed to securing a collaboration with the National Women's Health Network. In addition, Afua serves on the Health Policy Commission and holds various leadership positions within the Women In Science at Harvard-Radcliffe organization. Other notable experiences include strategic consulting for UVU Bio, wherein Afua aided in the expansion of a significant biotech education program in West Africa, and participation in the MIT Office of Engineering Outreach Programs. Afua's commitment to leadership and community engagement is further demonstrated through involvement in multiple organizations and initiatives related to health policy and mentoring.
