Sophie Parsa

Sophie Parsa is currently a Computational Associate at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where research focuses on the role of 3 prime untranslated regions of mRNA in tumor development through RNA sequencing and statistical analysis. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Intern in the Hynes Lab at Stanford University, where Sophie developed code for RNA sequencing data normalization, and as an Engineer developing data visualization software for processing data from wearable devices. Additional positions include Software Engineering Intern at Verily and Analytics QA Intern at Apple. Sophie holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Stanford University.
