Kellie Jones

Senior Manager - Retail Operations at Broad River Retail

Kellie Jones has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Kellie started their career at Amstar Cinemas in 2002 as a Shift Manager and worked there until 2004. Kellie then joined Target in 2004 and held the position of Executive Team Leader for a decade. In this role, Kellie effectively managed payroll, expenses, and team members while maintaining a guest-focused and friendly environment. Kellie also played a key role in driving store sales through excellent guest experiences and focusing on guest loyalty. In 2014, Kellie transitioned to David's Bridal and served as a Store Manager until 2016. Their responsibilities included overseeing the store operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Since 2016, Kellie has been working at Broad River Retail d/b/a Ashley HomeStore. Kellie started as a Guest Service Representative and then progressed to become a Guest Service Lead, Retail Experience Manager, Senior Retail Experience Manager, and finally, the Manager of Retail Operations. Their most recent role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail stores. Additionally, Kellie was also involved in a Salesforce implementation project and served as a Project Specialist during the transition.

Kellie Jones obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Business Administration from Western Carolina University from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Mooresville High School from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued General Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Kellie has also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn. In September 2018, they received certifications in "Body Language for Women," "Executive Presence for Women," and "Leading Yourself." In August 2018, they obtained the "Creating a Positive and Healthy Work Environment" certification, and in July 2018, they completed certifications in "Learning How to Increase Learner Engagement" and "Working with Upset Customers." Furthermore, they attained certificates in "Excel Quick Tips" in July 2018, "Developing a Learning Mindset" in June 2018, "Learning Agility" in June 2018, "Communicating with Confidence" in May 2018, "Leading without Formal Authority" in May 2018, and "Strategic Thinking" in May 2018.
