Marc Falkner

Marc Falkner has extensive experience in the field of total rewards and compensation. Marc currently holds the position of Vice President Total Rewards at Brookdale, a role they started in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as Division Vice President-Total Rewards-Compensation at ScionHealth from 2021 to 2022. From 2016 to 2021, Marc served as Division Vice President Compensation - Total Rewards at Kindred Healthcare, where they provided leadership and counsel in the total rewards and compensation function for a public healthcare organization.

Before Kindred, Marc held the position of Sr. Director - Total Rewards-Compensation & HRIS at Brookdale Senior Living from 2007 to 2016. During their tenure, they developed and improved the compensation department and implemented automated solutions to streamline business processes. Marc also served on the senior leadership team and contributed to the company's human capital strategy.

Prior to their time at Brookdale, Marc worked as Assistant Vice President Compensation at Fiserv, Inc. from 2004 to 2007 and Director Compensation at MRA - The Management Association from 2003 to 2004. Marc began their career as a Compensation Manager at Cobalt Corporation from 1997 to 2003, where they designed and administered various compensation programs and provided training on HR issues.

Marc started their professional journey as a Compensation Analyst at Medical College of Wisconsin in 1991, where they worked until 1997.

Marc Falkner has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Marc also holds a Master's degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In addition, they have obtained the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification from WorldatWork in the year 2000.
