Emma Crause has a strong background in tax and finance with experience in various roles at different companies. Emma started their career as a Tax Consultant at Arthur Andersen / Andersen in 1998 and later joined Ernst & Young as a Senior Consultant - Taxation in 2002. Emma then worked as a Solicitor - Taxation at Clayton Utz from 2003 to 2006 and as a Senior Associate - Taxation at Atanaskovic Hartnell from 2006 to 2012. Emma then joined KPMG Australia as a Director-Mergers & Acquisitions and Infrastructure Tax from 2012 to 2016 before joining Brookfield Asset Management. At Brookfield, they initially served as a Vice President - Tax in 2016 and later got promoted to the role of Senior Vice President - Tax in January 2019.
Emma Crause has a Masters of Law with a specialization in Taxation from the University of Sydney. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the same university. In addition, they have recently completed the CEW Leaders Program offered by Chief Executive Women.
