Lisa Strauss

Lisa Strauss has a diverse work experience in the field of commercial real estate and hospitality. Lisa worked as an Associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP from 2006 to 2008 before joining Reed Smith LLP as an Associate from 2011 to 2013. Lisa then joined Hogan Lovells as an Associate from 2013 to 2015, where they focused on representing owners and borrowers in real estate acquisitions, financings, and leasing with a specialization in the hospitality industry. From 2015 to 2021, Lisa worked at Brookfield Asset Management, starting as a Vice President and later becoming a Senior Vice President. In their role at Brookfield, Lisa provided legal counsel for the company's hospitality investment platform and managed a portfolio of branded and independent hotels in North America. Lisa'sresponsibilities included reviewing and negotiating various agreements, coordinating transactions with external parties, and providing corporate advice.

Lisa Strauss has a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from The George Washington University Law School, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Northwestern University from 2002 to 2006. In addition, Lisa attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2004 to 2005, where they pursued a General Course in Economic History.
