Yong H.

Yong H. is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in accelerator control systems, specializing in the NSLS-II project at Brookhaven National Laboratory since February 2009. Progressing from Advanced Application Engineer to Architect, Yong has engaged in all engineering stages including design, installation, and commissioning, and has developed EPICS drivers in C/C++ across multiple operating systems. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate role focusing on instrumentation and controls designs for NSLS-II, a visitor position at KEK for device driver upgrades, and a Ph.D. candidacy at Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility centered on instrumentation and distributed controls for particle accelerators. Yong holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Physics from the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Hunan University.
