Anurag B.

Anurag B. has extensive experience in the insurance industry, particularly in operational and strategic roles. They started their career with Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in 2010, where they held positions such as AVP Strategy and Operational Planning and Chief of Staff. In 2015, they became the Chief Operating Officer for Programs and Direct Markets at Zurich Insurance. They joined Zurich North America in 2016 as EVP and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing Alternative Markets. During this time, they played a key role in the acquisition and integration of a $2B Crop portfolio and the transformation of two other business units. In 2018, they also took on the role of EVP, Head of Strategy, Innovation, and Business Development. In 2021, Anurag B. joined B2Z Insurance as an Advisory Board Member before assuming the role of EVP and Chief Operating Officer - Wholesale Division at Brown & Brown Insurance.

Anurag B. holds an MBA degree in Strategy & Finance from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. In addition to the degree, Anurag has obtained various certifications from Zurich Insurance Group, including "#ZurichNeverStops Webinars" in 2020 and "Zurich Catalyst - Module 1 EMEA," "Complete Leadership at Zurich," and "Leading in the Digital Age" in 2019.
