Vanessa Britto

Vanessa Britto, MD, MSc, FACP, currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and holds the position of Associate Vice President of Campus Life and Student Services, as well as Executive Director of Health and Wellness at Brown University. With extensive experience in healthcare leadership, Vanessa led the Health Services Department at Wellesley College from 2001 to 2017 and worked as a Staff Physician and Co-Developer of the Preventive Cardiology Clinic at Brockton Hospital prior to that. Vanessa's career also includes roles as a College Physician at Stonehill College, co-founding physician at the Women's Wellness Center/Bay Street Medical Group, and Medical Director of the Greater Fall River Community Development Service Center. Vanessa earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Dartmouth College, followed by a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a Master of Science in Community Health from Brown University.
