Gerhard Hofer

Gerhard Hofer is an accomplished engineer with a specialized focus on advanced e-motor and transmission technologies. Currently serving as an Advanced E-Motor & Transmission Engineer at BRP-Rotax GmbH & Co KG since August 2022, Gerhard previously held the position of Advanced E-Motor Engineer at Great Wall Motor Research & Development Austria from November 2019 to August 2022. Prior to that, Gerhard was the Lead System Architect Innovation at MAGNA Powertrain GmbH & Co KG between 2015 and November 2019. Gerhard holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Fahrzeugtechnik from FH Joanneum, earned from 2010 to 2014.
