Pedro Almeida

Pedro Almeida has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Pedro is currently working as a Data Lead at BRQ Digital Solutions since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at the same company from June 2022 to June 2023. Before joining BRQ Digital Solutions, Pedro worked as an Analytics/AI/ML Solutions Architect at dataRain Consulting from December 2021 to May 2022. Pedro was also a Data Scientist at Nestlé from March 2021 to December 2021 and at Semantix AI from May 2019 to March 2021. Pedro started their career as a Trainee at Advanced Appraisal Group in August 2009 and has held various analyst roles at companies such as Levin Global, DELOS CONSULTORIA, Solví Soluções para a Vida, KMR Energia e Meio Ambiente, and ILUMEO - Data Science Company.

Pedro Almeida holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Pós Graduação - Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz, obtained between 2003 and 2008. Pedro then pursued a Master's degree in Sustainability at USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2021 to 2023. In 2022, Pedro completed an extension course in Development of Intelligent Computing Systems at Instituto de Matemática e Estatística - Universidade de São Paulo (IME-USP). In 2023, they enrolled in a Postgraduate program in Machine Learning in Production at Universidade Federal de São Carlos - UFSCar Oficial and a Full Cycle Developer program at Full Cycle. Pedro has obtained various certifications, including AWS certifications, ML ops concepts, CI/CD for Machine Learning, and software engineering for data scientists.
