The Project Coordinator is located in Mississauga, ON and typically reports directly to the Operations Manager.

The Project Coordinator will assist with the overall administrative direction for one large or several smaller facilities management projects. They will assist with the overall performance, including the management of costs, schedule and project status while maintaining excellent relations with the employees, subcontractors, consultants and our clients.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, in conjunction with the Project Manager, the execution of projects in accordance with Corporate Policy
  • Assist with preparing contracts
  • Prepare progress reports
  • Assist in the purchase of supplies and materials
  • Document control
  • Equipment management
  • Office management
  • Scheduling

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • University or college degree in construction engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, project management, and/or skilled trade accreditation
  • PMP Designation is considered an asset

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years’ experience in operations or facilities management industries

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Due to many mandatory vaccination requirements at client projects / facilities, in order to provide substantial employment by ensuring compliance with our client’s mandates, the successful candidate will be required to validate full vaccination prior to hire.
  • Effective and efficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of construction industry
  • Basic blueprint reading
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
  • Own vehicle/full G driver's license
