Opportunity 

Brunswick’s digital team is seeking a digital Executive, based in London, to join their close-knit group of specialists advising some of the world’s leading organisations.  

The ideal candidate will have an active and demonstrable interest in communication and social and digital media. As a digital Executive, you will support the team on day-to-day activities for a variety of clients, including digital audits, industry/competitor analysis and amplification strategies.  

You will enjoy staying up-to-date on latest digital industry trends, and be passionate about producing impactful digital campaigns.

Day-to-day activity 

  1. Monitor client news online, often in real-time; alert internal teams; provide research and analysis (qualitative and quantitative)  
  1. Keep colleagues informed of project status; develop action plans/meeting notes as appropriate 
  • Perform competitive online analyses of clients and peer groups 
  • Effectively handle logistics around media and client meetings, announcement days, and other client events. 
  • Begin to nurture a network outside of the firm. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies 

  • Ability to exhibit discretion with confidential client matters 
  • Interest in digital and social media trends, e.g. changes to platform features, algorithm updates 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise 
  • Ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to quickly adapt content to suit different publication channels 
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with strong problem-solving skills 
  • An understanding of financial terminology a plus 
  • Creative 
  • Early experience (typically 1 – 3 years) in a professional setting. 
  • Exceptional research, writing and communication skills 
  • Experience leveraging and measuring efforts on social media platforms to achieve business objectives, including LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, Google and other new media (both paid and organic) 
  • Experience with design programmes preferred, but not required (Adobe, Photoshop, InDesign) 
  • Experience with social media and digital tools preferred, including a monitoring / analytics system (such as Brandwatch, Radian6, Sysomos, Sprinklr or Spredfast; LinkedIn and Google analytics) 
  • Interest in financial and business issues 
  • Problem-solving skills and detail orientation 
  • Self-motivated and an eager learner
