Katharine is a Director in Brunswick Insight’s London group with principle expertise in public affairs, corporate reputation management and message development.

Over the course of her career, Katharine has used data-led insights to advise a wide range of clients on their communications strategies, including governments, political parties, corporates and third sector organizations internationally.

Having worked on campaigns to develop effective messaging around complex issues such as sugar taxation, air passenger duty, pensions reform, and tax evasion and avoidance, Katharine is an experienced researcher personally delivering quantitative and qualitative research projects run in more than 25 countries.

Katharine joins Brunswick following more than 7 years at the communications research and polling consultancy, ComRes, where she was managing director leading a team of more than 30 to inform strategies, change behavior and define debates. Katharine has advised clients including Coca-Cola, Barclays, HMRC, United Biscuits, the General Medical Council and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Using innovative methodologies to meet clients’ objectives, Katharine has set up polling in the Maldives, explored young peoples’ attitudes towards social change in Saudi Arabia, and maintained the largest research panels of legislators in the UK and Brussels.

A well-known commentator, Katharine is regularly interviewed by the BBC, ITV, Sky News and many other media, to provide analysis on topical issues. Katharine has a first class degree in French and Spanish from University College London, and began her career in the Ecuadorian media before moving into public affairs at Bell Pottinger.
