Laura Buchanan

Head of Brunswick’s Consumer Industries Group, Laura has over 12 years’ experience advising on a range of critical issues across the sector globally. She focuses on long term reputation and brand building, with considerable M&A and critical issues experience.

Laura began her career as a journalist, at the BBC for a number of years in the Business & Economics Unit and prior to that as a founder member of the start up Sharecast.com.

At Brunswick, clients have included Burberry, IHG, Tesco, Inditex, Jamie Oliver and DirectLine Group. Recent transactions include advising on ABInBev's £79bn acquisition of SAB Miller, and Sainsburys acquisition of Home Retail Group.

Laura is a member of the Creative Industries Federation and works with the children's mental health charity Place2Be.
