Job description

We’re leading the way in redefining the workwear category. Our mission is to engineer better boots and apparel for our country’s tradesmen and women by working directly with real workers to learn what they actually need to execute their jobs.

The BRUNT team is not only devoted to improving on the old workwear standards, but we’re also creating a community that tradesmen and women can call their own. From our weekly hangouts at the BRUNT Garage, to hosting events across the country, we’re all about getting boots on the ground and building something real with the BRUNT crew.

What You’ll Do:

BRUNT is seeking an adaptive and collaborative photographer to shoot and edit compelling photos of our products, events, and people. This role presents an opportunity to shape BRUNT’s visual style and brand identity through ecommerce/digital and lifestyle photography, showcasing both products and our community of employees, customers, and trades workers. You will play a vital role in building and managing a new photo studio in our North Reading office that will support ecommerce and lifestyle photography and videography.

This role will partner with senior creatives to source talent and locations for photo shoots, with a focus on the authentic experiences of people working in the trades and the footwear and apparel that protects them on the job site. You will be asked to provide ecommerce photos for our website, collaborate with workers to capture visuals on job sites, and travel with our community team to document our events and sponsorships. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are critical.

How You’ll Do It:

Production:

  • Conduct and lead photoshoots for BRUNT’s marketing materials, including lifestyle photography, ecommerce photography, video shoots, and event photography.
  • Partner with senior creative partners to source talent and locations for photoshoots.
  • Provide recommendations around the photo shoot look and feel, selecting lens and camera equipment, determining props, costumes and photo design.
  • Partner with senior leadership and senior creatives to manage and build a new photo studio from the ground up, helping determine set up and vital equipment.
  • Capture high-quality and on brand photos that align with the BRUNT’s visual standard.
  • Some travel required to capture images at brand and community events.

Post Production:

  • Collaborate with the creative team on project elements, including copy, design, and additional media elements, to ensure that a cohesive and polished visual style is created.
  • Manage the post-production process on all personally created content, including using software to edit, retouch, and color correct images to meet quality standards.
  • Produce final polished photography assets via the post production process.

Strategic:

  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to build and implement concepts that amplify BRUNT’s narrative, bringing product to life by capturing the authentic experiences of tradesmen and women.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to align content with strategic objectives as reflected in company OKRs.
  • Incorporate take-aways from top-performing assets into future content concepts, helping ensure that content is always delivering against KPIs.

What You Need to Succeed:
