About the Role

The SEO Specialist will drive the growth of our Client’s e-commerce stores across Australia. This role will leverage expertise in Google advertising to enhance our online presence, increase traffic, and maximise ROI from our SEM campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing successful Google Ads campaigns for global e-commerce businesses. This person will work closely with various departments, grow revenue and profit contribution from the channel, support numerous business, marketing & campaign strategic initiatives, and is ultimately responsible for managing budgets across key markets within the channel. To break up the role, the candidate will also have the opportunity to interact with store customers and assist the sales team where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage various Google Ads campaigns with a focus on growing sales and profits across all markets.

  • Optimise ad performance through A/B testing, keyword analysis, and audience targeting.

  • Allocate and manage budgets effectively across multiple campaigns and markets. Implement and refine search & keyword strategies to drive relevant traffic and increase conversions.

  • Utilise Google Analytics and other tools to track, report, and analyse website traffic and campaign performance.

  • Collaborate with the e-commerce, web development, and design teams to optimise landing pages for higher conversion rates.

  • Implement best practices for landing page structure, content, and user experience.

  • Explore and implement new Google Ads features and beta programs to stay ahead of industry trends. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.

  • Ensure all SEM activities comply with Google’s advertising policies and industry best practices.

About You

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a PPC/SEM role preferably for global e-commerce brands

  • Minimum 2 years experience in managing Annual Marketing budgets for a global brand

  • Expert knowledge of all Google products including but not limited to Google Ads, Google Merchant Centre, GA4 & Google Tag Manager

  • Experience managing and optimising large product data feeds using tools such as Datafeedwatch or similar

  • High Proficiency with Excel Qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not essential
