Gordon Ambrosino

Gordon Ambrosino is an accomplished curator and academic with extensive experience in museum and higher education settings. Currently serving as Curator at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West since September 2022, Gordon also holds the positions of Adjunct Assistant Professor and NAGPRA Coordinator at The University of New Mexico since November 2021. Previously, Gordon worked as NAGPRA Coordinator and Adjunct Professor at Auburn University from August 2020 to October 2021, and as a Mellon Postdoctoral Curatorial Fellow at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art from November 2017 to July 2020. Gordon’s early career includes significant roles as a Doctoral Researcher at Universidad de Los Andes from 2012 to 2017 and as Collections Manager and Repatriation Specialist at The Field Museum from 2006 to 2010.
