Chad Kurz

Senior Creative Director & Vice President of Brand Strategy at Buffalo Groupe

Chad Kurz has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Chad started their career in 2002 as a Summer Intern and later became a Media Relations Gameday Staff at the Nashville Predators until April 2004. In 2003, Chad worked as a Production Intern for The George Michael Sports Machine (NBC 4), where they gained skills in video production and editing.

From 2004 to 2005, they had multiple roles at Titans All Access (Tennessee Titans Official TV Show), including Production Intern and Media Relations Gameday Staff. During this time, they collaborated with the Titans marketing department and developed program content.

Chad then joined the United States Soccer Federation in 2005 as an Online Production Coordinator, managing the promotion of ussoccer.com content and aiding in the development of the website's user experience.

In 2007, they became an Internet Marketing Manager at the NFL Players Association/NFL PLAYERS, where they launched online news shows, managed video libraries, and assisted in TV series production.

Chad worked for the Washington Nationals from 2010 to 2014, starting as a Senior Manager and eventually becoming the Senior Director of Creative, Digital & Brand Strategy. Chad conceptualized and executed digital campaigns, designed interactive microsites, and directed photo and video shoots.

In 2014, they became a Digital Consultant at EPAM Systems, providing comprehensive marketing expertise, copywriting, branding, and digital strategy.

From 2015 to 2017, Chad founded and served as the Principal of Chad Kreates, where they hosted and produced a podcast for the Washington Patriots and executed social media strategies for charity events.

Finally, Chad joined the Buffalo Groupe in 2017, starting as the Director of Integrated Marketing and progressing to Vice President of Creative Brand Strategy and now as the Senior Creative Director & Vice President of Brand Strategy.

Chad Kurz completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human and Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University. Chad attended from 2000 to 2004. Following their undergraduate studies, Chad pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Organizational Leadership at the same institution, which they completed from 2004 to 2005.
