Emma Potter has diverse work experience in industries such as summer camps, education, and energy solutions. Emma has worked as an Assistant Director and Program Director at Shaffer's High Sierra Camp and was responsible for staff management, creating schedules, and leading programs. Emma also worked as an English Second Language Teacher in Thailand and as an Online Tutor. Emma has experience in leading field trips for children and has held roles as a Visual Arts Director, Art Director, and Activities Specialist at Shaffer's High Sierra Camp. Emma has also worked as a Project Associate for Momentum and a Barista for Blenders In The Grass.

Emma Potter received their Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies and German from UC Santa Barbara in 2018. In 2020, they began their Master of Arts degree in International/Global Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, which they are scheduled to complete in 2023. During their Master's program, they also studied at University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria in 2021 and Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2022 for further education in International/Global Studies. Additionally, they obtained various certifications such as Open Water Diver from SSI Scuba Schools International, TESOL from XploreAsia, Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid from NOLS Wilderness Medicine, CPR/ First-Aid and Lifeguard from American Red Cross.
