Chris Nicol has over a decade of experience in the electronics and engineering fields, currently serving as an Electrical Engineer at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where responsibilities include developing hardware for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously held the role of Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, focusing on firmware and diagnostic tools. Chris also worked as an Electronics Contractor at the Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational devices, and gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary. Earlier career highlights include working as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, where contributions involved circuit design and software development for control systems in the forestry sector. Chris obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
