Features Editor - Growth (lifestyle Asia Thailand - English)

BurdaLuxury is looking for a Features Editor to join the Lifestyle Asia Thailand’s editorial team. Reporting to the Creative Content Director, the candidate will write and publish articles daily and work towards digital KPIs to produce high quality content for our readers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently coming up with story ideas and angles for the different verticals (mainly dining, people, entertainment, news and trending/viral stories) keeping aspects like brand positioning and traffic generation in mind for Thailand
• Writing daily, SEO-friendly online articles that are relevant to our audience in both Thai and English
• Reacting to news events and pushing out timely breaking news on all channels
• Following and analysing competitors on websites and social media

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Thai
• Good knowledge of the local dining and lifestyle scene in Thailand and Southeast Asia
• Keen interest and knowledge in the world of lifestyle, knowledge of the regional celebrity landscape is a plus
• Possess 3+ years’ experience in digital media
• Proven track record of writing engaging well-researched, SEO-friendly stories and headlines in both English and Thai
• Detail-oriented, resourceful and can work fast under daily deadlines
• Experience using CMS such as Wordpress
• Knowledge of analytics tools such as Chartbeat and Google Analytics
• Social media-savvy and always staying on top of trending topics
• Experience in working with digital KPIs (engagement, reach) and knowledge how to improve them
• Working ability of image editing software
