Job description

Position Statement: BurdaLuxury is looking for a dynamic Social Media Executive and working with larger teams to introduce new initiatives, including a podcast.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Management:
    • Manage social media schedules, post content, and curate imagery and copy.
    • Assist in video production, photography, and graphic design for social media content.
    • Write and edit engaging social copy aligned with brand voice and tone.
    • Ensure content consistency and quality across all platforms.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
    • Work closely with sales teams to develop social media solutions tailored to client needs.
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both editorial and regional social media teams.
    • Coordinate the launch of brand editorial IPs and new initiatives such as podcasts.
  • New Initiatives:
    • Identify opportunities to introduce new content formats and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the brand’s editorial vision and audience interests.
  • Analytics & Trends:
    • Monitor social media analytics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.

    • Stay updated with the latest trends in social media and digital marketing.

    • Regularly report on performance metrics to the leadership team.

Key Skills Required:

  • Content Management: Strong ability to manage content calendars, schedule posts, and ensure timely delivery of content.

  • Visual & Creative Skills: Proficiency in graphic design and video production, with a good eye for visual storytelling.

  • Client Solutions: Experience in working closely with sales teams to create client-focused social media solutions.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze performance metrics and use insights to inform content strategy.

  • Trend Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, tools, and platforms, with a proactive approach to experimentation.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in social media management, focusing on graphics, video production, and content strategy.

  • Strong skills in social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop.

  • Passion for storytelling and understanding of content marketing.
