Aphr® Lisa Batz

Lisa Batz, aPHR®, has a diverse work experience starting in 2015 at Oberweis Dairy, where they worked as a Shift Lead until 2020. In 2020, they also served as a Financial Planning Peer Educator Intern at the University of Illinois Extension-Champaign. Lisa later joined Starbucks as a Barista from August 2020 to March 2021. Since May 2021, Lisa has been working at Busey, first as a Wealth Management Intern from March to May 2021, then as a Wealth Advisory Support Associate from May 2021 to April 2022. Currently, they hold the role of HR Benefits Specialist at Busey.

Lisa Batz, aPHR®, has a diverse education history. Lisa obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources & Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Labor and Employment Relations, graduating between 2022 and 2024. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and completed their studies between 2019 and 2021. Additionally, Lisa obtained an Associates degree from the College of Lake County between 2017 and 2019.

In terms of certifications, Lisa acquired the Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) designation from HRCI in March 2022. Lisa also holds a certification as a Wealth Management Specialist from the College for Financial Planning, which they obtained in October 2021.
