Ryan Clark is an accomplished ecologist with extensive experience in biodiversity conservation and education. Currently serving as an Ecologist in Northern England for Butterfly Conservation since January 2023, Ryan focuses on monitoring priority moth and butterfly species. In addition, Ryan has been an Associate Tutor for the Field Studies Council since March 2020, developing and delivering workshops on solitary and bumblebee ecology. Previous roles include overseeing ecological restoration projects for pollinators at Cumbria Wildlife Trust and leading research initiatives at The Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire. Ryan's career began with significant contributions to wildlife recording and education through the WILDside Project at Northamptonshire Biodiversity Records Centre and various ecology-related positions. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Reading.
