Nevada Sanchez is a Co-Founder and VP of ASIC Design at Butterfly Network, Inc. where they oversee the research and development of the company's core technology. They led the research development of the world's first ultrasound-on-chip. Prior to that, Nevada worked at MIT as an FPGA Developer and Hardware Engineer, where they developed FPGA based solutions for radio astronomy and developed software for data storage, analysis, and visualization. They also worked as a Student at MIT Media Lab and as an iPhone Application Developer at MIT Media Lab (MobMedia). Additionally, Nevada has experience as a Software Developer Engineer at Microsoft (Bing), a Software Engineer at NVIDIA, a Senior Technical Intern at Lockheed Martin (Enterprise Integrations Group), and as a Testing and Debugging Engineer at EMC.

Nevada Sanchez attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2011. They obtained a Bachelor's degree in EECS, Mathematics, and Physics in 2010, followed by a Master's degree in EECS in 2011.
