Rachael Weir

Rachael Weir has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rachael currently works as the Senior Director of Quality Affairs at Butterfly Network, Inc., where they are responsible for managing the quality organization and ensuring regulatory compliance for medical device systems. Prior to their current role, they served as the Senior Director of Post Market Quality at the same company.

Before joining Butterfly Network, Rachael worked at BTG plc as the Vigilance Manager, overseeing post-market surveillance. Rachael also gained experience in the healthcare field as a Surgical Recovery Specialist at NJ Sharing Network.

In addition, Rachael has held positions at Allergan and LifeCell, where they worked in clinical safety management and quality product surveillance, respectively. Rachael also worked at the Schering-Plough Research Institute as an Associate Scientist, specializing in pathology, toxicology, and scientific writing.

Rachael'searly career includes roles as a Histology Technician at Atlantic Health System and an Oncology Research Technician at New York University.

Throughout their career, Rachael has demonstrated expertise in quality management, regulatory compliance, post-market surveillance, and team leadership.

Rachael Weir earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Centenary University in 2011. Rachael then pursued a Masters degree in Clinical Research Organization and Management from Drexel University College of Medicine from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their degrees, Rachael obtained various certifications including ASQ CQA Certified from ASQ - World Headquarters in December 2023, Certified Tissue Bank Specialist from the American Association of Tissue Banks in 2013, and Certified ISO 13485 Auditor - Medical Device Quality Management Standards from Oriel STAT A MATRIX in 2011.
