Laura Gordon has a long and varied work experience. Laura started their career in 2008 as a Customer Service Assistant at Lloyds TSB. In 2009, they moved to GE Corporate as an HR Administrator, where they worked in a HR operations shared service environment. In 2011, they moved to GE Healthcare as an HR Generalist and HR Coordinator, where they drove projects including simplification and engagement projects around onboarding, welcome packs, inductions and manager development. In 2014, they moved to GE Corporate again, this time as an HR Generalist UK&I, where they supported 500 employees across 26 locations. From 2016-2020, they worked at GE Aviation as a Site HR Leader, HR Manager (Temporary Assignment), and HR Manager (HR Leadership Program), where they drove discussions and culture around cultural change, succession planning and embedding the HR role within the business P&L. In 2020, they moved to Butternut Box as Head of People.
Laura Gordon completed a Bachelor of Arts with Hons in Business and Human Resource Management from Sheffield Hallam University between 2007 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained A Levels in Business Studies, Psychology, Spanish, English Literature and Language from Ossett 6th Form between 2005 and 2007.
