Brett Zaziski has a diverse work experience. Brett started off as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Vassar College in 2015. In 2016, they played as a Professional Baseball Player for the San Rafael Pacifics. In 2017, they worked as a Sales Intern at Decervo. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Technical Recruiter at FYI Solutions. In 2018, they interned as a Quality Control Intern for the Seattle Mariners, where they performed various tasks related to video coordination and advanced scouting reports. In 2019, they worked as an Associate Analyst in Baseball Operations/Player Development for the San Francisco Giants, where they created advanced scouting reports and developed post-game pitching and hitting reports using SQL and R. Starting from 2018, they also operated as a Freelance Sports Analytics Specialist, building models using machine learning techniques for agents, players, and organizations. In 2020, they joined Analytic Partners as a Marketing Science Analyst, working with clients in the CPG and restaurant industries, analyzing marketing mix and utilizing machine learning techniques. From 2021 to 2023, they worked at Momentum Worldwide as a Data Scientist, providing analytical and data management support to multiple clients and projects. Most recently, they joined Button in 2023 as a Data Scientist.

Brett Zaziski completed their education with a Master's Degree in Sports Management, with a focus in Sports Analytics, from Columbia University in 2018. Before that, they attended Vassar College from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government.

In addition to their formal education, Brett has also acquired several certifications. Brett obtained the Python Data Structures certification from Coursera in July 2021. In September 2020, they completed the Programming for Everyone (Getting Started with Python) course from Coursera. Furthermore, in January 2016, they earned The Data Scientist's Toolbox certification from Coursera Course Certificates. Lastly, in December 2014, Brett obtained the AIRS CIR certification from AIRS.
