This position is hybrid based out of our Bannockburn, IL or Downtown Chicago, IL office. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

The Senior Financial Analyst – Fresh is responsible for gathering and analyzing financial data related to BEP’s Fresh Division brands (Produce Alliance, Fresh Concepts, and Fresh Alliance). The primary objective of this role is to support the FP&A team and serve as a business partner to Fresh brand leaders.

Your impact:

• Monthly Financial Analysis: Create monthly P&L views with budget / forecast and actual comparisons and provide commentary on variances.
• Management Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly presentations for business leaders with insights on revenue, expenses, headcount and Fresh KPIs. Create materials for Quarterly Business Review (QBR) with BEP executive team.
• Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting: Lead the annual budget process and quarterly forecast process for the Fresh Division by facilitating work sessions with business partners.
• FP&A Software Utilization: Expand reporting capabilities for Fresh team utilizing BEP software tools.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Create ad hoc reports and presentations for FP&A leadership as needed.

About you:

• BS in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable field.
• 4+ years of finance / accounting experience; familiarity with the technology industry a must and fresh produce-specific experience is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Curiosity to learn and solve problems independently.
• Ability to prioritize objectives in a fast-paced environment to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner.
• Expertise in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets); comfortable managing large datasets and driver-based models.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a start-up like environment
• Experience with FP&A tools (Planful) a plus.
