Agustin Ferreira Pose

Agustin Ferreira Pose has been working in the field of data science since 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Data Analyst at Banco Santander in the UPBC department. In 2019, they joined Quanam as a Consultant Data Scientist in the Data & Analytics department. Agustin worked on process optimization with multiple Machine Learning techniques in multiple industries, developing new business opportunities and branches. Agustin also worked on campaign optimization, achieving a 3x conversion rate for product campaigns, and developed a POC for sentiment analysis using NLP and topic modelling. In 2022, they joined Protect Group as a Data Scientist, tasked with developing the Data Science practice within the company's operations. Agustin also worked on a Dynamic Pricing system to improve price differentiation practices and used Machine Learning and A/B Testing tools to evaluate multiple price points. Finally, they are currently working as a Solution Engineer at Buynomics, developing the onboarding pipeline for multiple clients primarily from the FMCG market, with a strong emphasis on automating and improving scalability of the current processes.

Agustin Ferreira Pose obtained a Bachiller in Economia from Instituto Preuniversitario Juan XXIII in 2012-2014. Agustin then attended Universidad Católica del Uruguay 'Dámaso Antonio Larranaga' from 2015-2019, where they obtained a BS in Economics. In 2018-2019, they were an exchange student in Economics at the University of Antwerp. In 2021-2022, they are currently attending the Barcelona School of Economics, where they are pursuing an Msc in Data Science Methodology, with a focus in Mathematics and Statistics. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in 2021, Data Science Methodologies from IBM in 2020, and IELTS (Grade 8.0) from Cambridge Assessment English in 2019.
